These murals were done for a small girl's bedroom.
Painting cartoons with their flat colours is much easier than
trying to match the complexities of Bonnard's use of colour,
but it is even harder to create an atmosphere.

 

 

 

 

 

The colours and the outlines need to be subtle,
and the paint delicately applied.
