A very distinctive old oil painting, which several members of the family wanted
but not everyone could inherit.

The solution was to make a copy. It is done using traditional techniques of underpainting and glazing, and when eventually completed it will look even more convincing.
(You can't rush these Old Masters.)
And in its antique gold frame it already looks like the original.
